I'm here for it.

Part of me felt selfish writing this t but I saw something similar on Stylist not long ago. So many of us are doing things later in life (if at all), it feels dated to not give the same love and attention to more modern and equally as important life moments.

I couldn’t agree more! Sex and the City was so ahead of its time. Rewatching it in my 30s just hits differently. The conflicts they unpack feel even more relevant now than when it first came out, or maybe that’s just because I’m older now.

Speaking of milestones, we should start to celebrate every win! We’re publishing on Substack! That seems like a win. Even if I have no subscribers yet, I should celebrate the fact that I’m trying something new and putting myself out there. Yay me!

Hits SO differently, I think it's part ahead of its time and part we were too young when it came out to fully understand the ins and outs of this period in your life.

At 36 I watch it and relate to pretty much every episode - also if you're a fan of SATC go listen to 'Are you a Charlotte' on Spotify, by Kristen Davis.

And a big massive YES to celebrating every win, like publishing on Substack 👏

Such a great post! The amount of hen dos/baby showers I’ve been to, some with insane price tags! Even when I got pregnant I was anti baby showers. It’s funny people want you to celebrate them with their weddings and kids, but many won’t return the favour for other achievements!

Ahh thank you so much Lucy 😊

I've really noticed it over the past few years, it's mad.
